I ordered this 25 lb cast iron hex dumbbell expecting a pair, but it's a single—disappointing if you miss that detail. That aside, the build is solid: the rubber coating on the heads is thick and the chrome handle has good knurling. It doesn't roll away, which is great for floor work. At $47.59 for one, it's not cheap, but the quality is there. The phthalate warning is a bit off-putting, though. If you need a single dumbbell, this is a sturdy option; otherwise, look for a pair.
