Our take
I appreciate the versatility of this set—it lets me create custom dumbbells using my existing plates. The chrome handles feel good, and the spin-lock collars keep everything tight. However, the included plates are only 2.5 lbs each, so the maximum weight is quite low. It's great for beginners or for light toning, but if you need heavier weights, you'll need to buy additional plates. The non-slip grip is a nice touch.
