Our take
I ordered these hex dumbbells for my home gym. They're solid cast iron with a rubber coating, which feels sturdy. The star-lock collars are a nice bonus, though they take a bit of effort to tighten. The chrome handle has a textured surface that provides a secure grip, but I wish it were a bit thicker. For the price, you get a pair of 15 lb dumbbells with some extra accessories. However, the specs mention PVC material and seem a bit mismatched. Overall, a decent set for basic strength training.
